Account Manager - Northern UK

Field Sales Executive

Elia is a well-respected, privately owned company that has been established for nearly 40 years.  We supply luxury, upmarket tableware to the professional catering market via the wholesale network into the hospitality trade and the retail market across the UK and internationally.

Elia is renowned for its excellent service, highest quality products and extensive stock holding. The head office and distribution centre is in High Wycombe - Buckinghamshire.

We are now looking for a keen and ambitious Field Sales Executive to join our company and represent us in the North of England.

As an established company, we already have a good customer base however, we would expect you to nurture and grow this business, along with seeking new business.

Full training on our company and products will be provided in the first instance, along with ongoing training and development where needed/required.

This is a remote role and is Field Sales based, as our offices and warehouses are based in the South of England in High Wycombe (Buckinghamshire). However, we have an office team that will support you as and where necessary and we would expect to you visit the office on a regular basis.  You will be reporting in and working in a team with our existing Sales Manager, to develop the business.

Job Role

  • Build, develop and manage existing business relationships with current customers.
  • Develop and grow new accounts across the region.
  • Provide training, motivation, and support for the sales force in our wholesale/distributor network.
  • Proactively promote the brand with end users across the region.

Skills/Attributes should include:

  • Self-motivated with experience in Account Management and a can-do attitude
  • Selling and negotiating skills
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • IT proficient
  • Clean driving licence
  • Experience in the catering/retail industry is beneficial but not essential.
